ABOUT US:
In the late 1970's Rick and I recognized the need for accurate and affordable miniature cans, glasses, bottles and jars. At that time we were manufacturing small precision parts for the electronics, medical, hardware, and aerospace industries. Adding miniatures to our product line added a new element - fun. Now, over twenty years later, we have "retired" to serve only you - the miniature dollhouse collector.
Our 120 plus products are designed by Rick and made one at a time from industrial grade materials (not glass) using Rick's specially designed one-of-a-kind machine and shipped from our workshop in Southern California.
"It's easy and exciting to see them come alive right before your eyes."
- quote from one of our customers -
Most of our pieces are sold in kit form and require fun finish work. Since our "glassware" is frequently filled with colored resins, the surface is very clean and dry and frosty looking. They can be "cleared" by coating with oil or (for a more permanent and realistic finish) clear acrylic nail polish. Cans and bottles require cutting out and attaching of the label. Some items are sold in finished sets and shipped in clear plastic boxes. Wine and champagne bottles are hand dipped in glass stain to produce a beautiful finish and accurate colors.
Thank you for your interest in Linden Swiss Miniatures. We hope you have as much fun with Linden Swiss Miniatures as we do.
